The Grossest Thing About Wrestling
Tonight Jed called to let us know about Gage's wrestling match. While we were talking on the phone, Gage had gotten out of bed and wanted to to talk to Grandma and Grandpa. He got on the phone and in a matter of fact voice he said, "Grandma, you want to know the grossest thing about wrestling "? I thought this has to be good. I imagined all kinds of unfavorable moves and positions that we won't discuss here. Gage started in great detail, that he and this other boy were wrestling, and the boy got kind of angry. "He got real close to my face with his face...........................and he got his burgers on my face.
Yep.......nothing of what I had imagined had even come close to being that gross!!! Aren't little boys great!!!!

Nikko at the airport
At this age Nikko vibrates his tongue in his mouth especially when he is tired. We were at the airport saying goodbye to them and I wanted to try and record it.
It was very late and he was very tired.

Now Give Me A Quarter
I am a child of God,
And he has sent me here,
Has given me an earthly home, With parents kind and dear
Lead me, Guide me, Walk beside me. Help me find the way.
Teach me all that I must do, to live with Him someday.

"STOP KILLING ME, BEN" !!!!!!!!!!
Gage lives to play video games. And when Uncle Ben comes and plays with him he is in Heaven except of course when he is not winning...... It was funny watching him play ....the concentration and the movements of the legs and face were great even though they had nothing to do with the movement of the controls.
Movie Night at the Chrismans
Friday nights are "Movie Night" at Jed and Joanna's. Joanna provides the treats .Jed makes professional tickets (long tickets like at a play) on the computer with pictures of what ever movie they are viewing. The children then take turns being the ticket taker. The ticket taker wears a movie themed apron. Gage wears a "Transformer" apron, Reese wears an "Ariel" apron, and this is Cy's "Cars" apron. The "movie goers" have to line up in the hall downstairs and patiently wait for the theater room to become available.

Cy and "His Baby"
When Gage was little he would come up to you while you were holding Baby Reese and want so much to "pet" her softly. As soon as you let your guard down because he was being so gentle he would hall off and smack her and run off without fail.
We were concerned about Cy when Baby Taylor came home. He loves to swing his bat. The cards were stacked against her. He did try the bat but by about the 3rd day home he had gotten Reese's baby doll and would carry it around the house. That night when I was walking him to sleep to his Celine Dion CD, he rested his head on my shoulder while loving his baby doll. It was the sweetest thing.
The next day while Joanna was feeding Taylor on the couch, Cy saw her little leg and foot sticking out of the Hooter Hider. Taylor's and the doll's skin color are very close. He gave her little leg a tug because he thought it was the doll he had been loving and he wanted to play with her.
If Reese survived Gage I think Taylor will do just fine with Cy.
Reese and Taylor
"What Tha"

Reese and I we talking one morning at breakfast before school. It was the day Grandpa Chrisman was going to come in. He was scheduled to be at Jed's and Jo's around dinner time. Reese and I were talking about getting balloons and making a poster that said "Welcome Home Grandpa" and putting it on the garage door. She was so excited!!! As Joanna was picking up the kitchen, Reese proceeded to tell me that when Grandpa saw the poster he would be so excited he would say....:What Tha". Joanna and I immediately turned and asked her what she said. Without missing a beat she said, "What Tha". This is her favorite phrase at 3 years old............ It could be worse.

Me and My Ugly Stick
My Little Yellow Ball
First off, for some reason Cy loves this little plastic yellow ball. He hits off a tee and has a choice of several balls of all sizes and colors but one day we watched and the only one he wanted to hit was this yellow ball.
One morning we were watching him play outside. He would put his yellow ball on the seat of his tiny car and then try to position himself into the vehicle. By the time he got his little legs and cute tummy inside the car he would have bumped his yellow ball out onto the ground. He would check for it and realize what had happen. Cy would then have to get himself out of the car ( which was never a graceful endeavor) and retrieve the ball. Of course, he would try (and try and try) to get the ball and himself into the car so he could go for a ride. After several attempts he bagged it and settled on the swing..........with the little yellow ball.
